SAFETY STANDARDS

Safety and quality are at the core of our manufacturing process. All our abrasive products are produced under strict quality control systems and comply with internationally recognized safety standards. Each disc is carefully tested for strength, balance, and performance to ensure maximum operator protection and reliable operation under high-speed conditions. Our commitment to safety guarantees products that meet professional industrial requirements while delivering consistent, secure, and dependable performance in every application.

MAIN SAFETY MEASURES & PRODUCTION PROCEDURES

We follow rigorous procedures defined by EN 12413 and ANSI B7.1

Disc Reinforcement

The fiberglass mesh is the layer that binds the abrasive materials together, providing strength, rigidity, and enhanced safety for the disc. Cutting discs are double reinforced, and grinding discs have 3 layers of fiberglass mesh.

Production Batch Traceability

We uniquely print the batch number on the label of every disc and record the complete production details of each batch, including the formulation and raw materials used, manufacturing date, the supervisor responsible during production, the curing date inside the oven, any observations during the different production stages, as well as inspection and packaging records. This system allows full traceability of every disc back to its exact formulation, production batch, and testing results.

Balance Checking

After pressing and exiting the production line, each disc is placed on a specialised balance testing device that measures its density and verifies the uniform distribution of materials around the centre of the disc. This process ensures proper balance and safe rotation without vibration during operation. Any discs that record results outside the accepted tolerance standards are immediately rejected and discarded.

RPM Test

A random sample is taken from each production batch and tested for rotational speed at 1.7 times the maximum operating speed using a specialized burst testing machine. This test verifies the structural integrity and safety of the disc under extreme conditions. If the sample fails or bursts during the test, the entire production batch is rejected to ensure the highest safety standards.

Intensive Technical Tests

A random sample is taken from each production batch to undergo additional technical performance tests as follows:
- For cutting discs: A specified number of cuts are performed on a designated material according to the disc type, size, and intended application. After the test, the remaining diameter of the disc is measured and compared to our internal wear standards, which exceed the performance benchmarks of many European brands available in the market.
- For grinding discs: The grinding efficiency (G-factor) is measured by performing grinding for a fixed period of time on a specified material. The weight of both the workpiece and the disc is measured before and after the grinding process to accurately evaluate the wear rate and grinding performance.
